WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?
Morning
We begin by photographing the donor area and administering local anesthetic. Following that, we begin harvesting the grafts. We only ask for your patience and don’t expect you to feel anything. Throughout the day, you will be alert and mobile. You are free to make phone calls or stretch your legs at any time.
Lunch & Afternoon
After the harvesting is completed, the physician will mark the reception area, and we will provide you with a meal of your choice. After injecting a little local anaesthetic, our technicians begin placing the grafts in the reception area in the afternoon.
After the treatment
After the hair transplantation, the doctor will perform a thorough examination and we will take a few more photos. You will be given after-care instructions and materials.
Because neither the treatment nor the medication impairs your ability to drive, you should be able to drive yourself home after the procedure.
GRAFTS’ EXTRACTION
Introductory steps before the treatment
Photos will be taken for your patient file before we begin therapy. After that, the donor region is taped off and shaved. Shaving the entire head produces the greatest results. This is rarely done in women for aesthetic reasons.
Harvesting the grafts
A superficial anaesthetic is applied once the donor area is shaved, so you won’t feel anything during the process. The technician will begin withdrawing the grafts once the anesthetic has taken effect. It is possible to request a break at any time. IMPLANTING THE GRAFTS
Mild anaesthesia
After lunch, photographs are taken once more, and a disinfection cream is put to the donor region. Before the area is marked and anaesthesia is applied, you will confirm the chosen receptor area with the physician one more time.
Observing the procedure
After the anesthetic has has been applied the doctor begins cutting tiny holes in the receptor area in preparation for the new grafts to be implanted. In the mirror, you can observe the process. The entire scalp is cleaned after the preparation. Two technicians or a doctor and a technician are responsible for implanting the grafts. The grafts are usually implanted by two people working together.
AFTER-CARE
New photos for your patient file will be taken after all of the grafts are in place. After that, you’ll be given after-care instructions, such as what medication to take and how to wash your hair.
