Connective Tissue Diseases

Connective tissue diseases are diseases with cutaneous manifestations, which may mask the systematic involvement of one or more other organs. The clinical suspicion, in combination with the special immunological examinations and the taking of microscopic tissue sections (3mm diameter) for histopathological examination, offers us the possibility of a thorough and rapid diagnosis. The therapeutic approach requires excellent patient-physician cooperation and is, in any case, specialized for the needs of each patient.
